Editor - AATSEEL Newsletter
AATSEEL seeks to appoint a new editor of its Newsletter. The Newsletter editor is assisted by several subeditors but has responsibility for the general appearance and typographic quality of the publication. The new editor will also be expected to undertake a graphic redesign of the Newsletter. New directions in content, such as issues devoted to particular themes or places in the Slavic and eastern European world, are also possible. Ideally, the publication will also shift to a web-friendly version in place of the current .pdf format. The appointment is to a five-year renewable term, with compensation of $2500 per issue, or $10,000 per annum. Applicants should send a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, and 2 or 3 page statement of ideas for the publication’s redesign to aatseel@usc.edu by 15 July 2013.
