Faculty Fellow in Russian

Colby College - Waterville, ME

The Russian Program in the Department of German and Russian at Colby College seeks to fill a one-year sabbatical replacement position for 2015-2016, beginning on September 1, 2015. Ph.D. preferred, ABD
considered; must have native or near-native fluency in Russian and evidence of scholarly accomplishment.

The successful candidate will have a record of excellence in teaching Russian language. The four-course load is likely to include second-year Russian (RU127, RU128) a combined intermediate-advanced
course (RU325/425) and possibly a 20th/21st cc. cultural studies topic in English. We seek an individual committed to undergraduate teaching and ready to be actively involved in extracurricular programming.
