Instructorship in Russian

Virginia Tech - Blacksburg, VA

Instructorship in Russian. One year, with potential for renewal. To teach 12 credits per semester to majors, minors, and other students of Russian.

MA (minimum) in Russian language, literature, culture, linguistics, second-language pedagogy, or a related field; ability to teach undergraduate courses in Russian culture and language from elementary to advanced level; experience teaching Russian at the university level in the US; willingness to assist in organizing co-curricular activities and promoting study abroad; native or near-native fluency in Russian and English. Must meet eligibility requirements to work in the US at time of appointment.
