Visiting Lecturer, Russian

The Wellesley College Department of Russian (http://www.wellesley.edu/russian) announces a search for a one-year, full-time leave replacement with a specialty in Russian literature, culture, and language. The appointment will be for the 2017-18 academic year. The successful candidate will teach at least four courses in nineteenth- and twentieth-century Russian literature and culture (both in translation and in Russian), and in Russian language; and possibly up to one Russia-oriented course in the Writing Program. Ability to teach writing-intensive courses, thematically organized courses, and Russian film especially welcome. Native or near-native fluency in English and Russian required. The minimum educational requirement for this position is a PhD (ABD considered). Excellent salary and full benefits package.
