Visiting Professor in Russian and East European Studies

Lafayette College invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor position in the Russian and East European Studies (REES) Program for the 2015-16 academic year. The person hired will teach three courses per semester ranging across different departments and interdisciplinary programs at Lafayette, with the exact mix of courses depending on curricular needs and the expertise of the successful candidate.

We will expect the successful candidate to teach courses in Russian literature, but we are also interested in candidates whose teaching and scholarship intersect with the Film and Media Studies or International Affairs programs. Candidates capable of supporting other interdisciplinary programs, such as Jewish Studies or Women’s and Gender Studies, are also encouraged to apply.
