Arizona State University - Melikian Center for Russian, Eurasian, and East European Studies - Tempe, AZ

The Melikian Center for Russian, Eurasian, and East European Studies at Arizona State University invites applications for the position of Director with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2016. Salary is competitive and will be commensurate with experience and credentials.

The Melikian Center is an endowed international studies center with a regional focus on Eastern Europe and Eurasia. With funding from the U.S. Department of State, USAID, and the U.S. Department of Defense, the Melikian Center engages in projects of international research, training, and development on its Tempe main campus, in Washington, DC, and overseas.

The director is expected to offer intellectual and administrative leadership; build and maintain donor relations; work collaboratively with other units at ASU to advance the charter of ASU; enhance the international /global stature of the Melikian Center; and actively contribute to the development and management of the Melikian Center’s projects.

Review of completed applications will begin on December 15, 2015. If not filled, review of applications will continue every two weeks thereafter until the search is closed. A background check is required for employment.
