Visiting Assistant Professor of Russian

Franklin & Marshall College - Lancaster, PA

The Department of German and Russian at Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor in Russian and Russian Studies depending on qualifications to begin Fall 2019. The position will be filled pending final administrative approval. This would be a one-year appointment. We seek a strong Russian teacher with a record of successful and innovative teaching. The ability to offer Russian literature and culture courses is desirable. This position carries a teaching load of 4 courses (2-2), plus 4 “fourth hour” (or drill) sections per semester for Russian language courses. Native or near-native fluency in Russian and English are required.
