Assistant Professor in Modern Russian History (Tenure-track)

Davidson College - Davidson, North Carolina

The Departments of History and Russian Studies at Davidson College invite applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Modern Russian History with an emphasis in Jewish History and Eastern Europe, including Ukraine. The successful candidate will offer courses in the History Department and in the Russian Studies Department. Candidates should be committed to excellence in both undergraduate teaching and scholarly research. Ph.D. in History or related field expected by June 30, 2024. The successful candidate will teach five courses each year (four in the first year) including introductory and upper-level courses of their own design. The candidate will also participate in the college’s Writing Program.
