The Department of German & Russian at the University of California, Davis, would like to recruit for a Unit 18 Lecturer for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Primary duties are to teach 2-3 upper-division nineteenth-century Russian literature and culture courses and hold office hours each week. Experience teaching Russian literature/culture courses at the university level required. Applicants should possess native or near-native language skills in both English and Russian.
Assignment of classes, hours of instruction, and office hours are at the discretion of the department. Classes are held Monday-Friday, normally between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
A reasonable estimate for this position is $64,329 - $70,295. Salary is prorated based on appointment percentage.
PhD in hand at time of appointment preferred, ABD accepted.
